Here are some Visual Basic 6.0 programs for exploring neural networks, written by myself and Vanessa Yaremchuk. The programs are designed to work on Windows machines, and are known to operate properly in Windows XP and Windows 98. To access the software, please press a link to the right.

• James is a program for exploring a distributed associative memory that can be trained with either the Hebb rule or with the Delta rule.
• Rosenblatt is a perceptron program. The output units can use a step activation function, a sigmoid activation function or a Gaussian activation function.
• Rumelhart is a multilayer perceptron program for exploring standard backprop networks (sigmoid activation functions), networks of value units (Gaussian activation functions) or hybrid combinations of these two types of processors.
