The first week of the course is designed to introduce the course, and to provide some teasers about the "embodied" and "synthetic" traditions that it explores. After discussing the course outline, we will view the documentary video called Fast, Cheap, And Out Of Control. If it doesn't set the tone for the course, then I don't know what will.
